After two and a half years of blood, sweat and many tears, the Gallatin family finally saw Daniel’s Law signed by Governor Tom Wolf. Daniel’s Law will provide a sentencing enhancement of up to five years for an accident involving texting while driving that results in a death, or up to two years if there is a serious injury.
Several hundred people gathered to watch Governor Tom Wolf sign Daniel’s Law at the Scott Township Volunteer Fire Department, where Daniel had been a lifetime member.
