Dallas M. Hartman

Dallas M. Hartman is the President of Dallas W. Hartman P.C. and has dedicated his career to fighting for seriously injured clients across Pennsylvania and Ohio. The son of founding partner Dallas W. Hartman, Dallas grew up immersed in the firm before earning his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He went on to graduate from Penn State Law at the top of his class, where he also served on the editorial board of the Penn State Law Review.

Dallas has built a reputation for obtaining record-breaking results for seriously injured clients across Western Pennsylvania and beyond. His recent results include a $17,500,000 product liability settlement for a young mother who lost a limb in a heavy machinery failure, a $15,650,000 wrongful death recovery for the family of a young woman killed in a trucking accident, a $14,000,000 truck accident settlement for a client who suffered serious lower extremity injuries, a $10,575,000 settlement for a client who lost both legs in an industrial truck accident, a $9,000,000 wrongful death settlement arising from the faulty installation of utility equipment, a $6,500,000 truck accident settlement for a young woman facing a lifetime of medical needs, a $5,000,000 dram shop judgment for a client who lost her husband in a drunk driving collision, and numerous multi-million dollar medical malpractice recoveries on behalf of his clients.

Dallas is one of the youngest members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Top Trial Lawyers in America. In 2021, he was selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers, a title he still holds. In 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, he was voted by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star — a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania under the age of 40.

Dallas has also been recognized by the media for his work on high-profile matters. In 2018, he served as lead counsel in a class-action medical malpractice lawsuit against UPMC Jameson in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and in 2020 he was featured across Western Pennsylvania news outlets as the lead attorney in a hit-and-run truck accident case involving the death of a teenage girl.

A Lawrence County native, Dallas was an all-state football and basketball player at Wilmington Area School District and went on to play football at the Ivy League level at Columbia University before continuing his athletic career at Carnegie Mellon.

Dallas focuses his practice on truck accidents, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and workers' compensation.
