School Bus Rollover
A $9,750,000.00 settlement was reached for a victim of a bus accident. In 2003, a student was traveling in a school bus outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when the vehicle rolled over. The driver of the school bus lost control of the vehicle as it left the roadway and flipped multiple times. The plaintiff was a passenger on the bus and suffered traumatic brain injury, cognitive memory impairment and deficits, left hemiparesis, ambulation dysfunction, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression. The law firm of Dallas W. Hartman, P.C., was able to reach a settlement for $9,750,000.00 between the school and the defendant driver for inattentive driving, excessive speed, negligence, carelessness, recklessness, and lack of training.
