A car accident in Johnson Township, Ohio involving two vehicles has killed one man. Also, a car and motorcycle accident in Jackson Township, Ohio has seriously injured four people.
Trumbull County car accident
In Johnson Township, a township in Trumbull County, an 86 year old man was traveling south on State Route 193 when he was hit by a 63 year old woman from Cortland, Ohio. The 63 year old woman stopped at a stop sign on Bradley Brownlee Road but failed to properly yield to the 86 year old male.
After the collision, the 86 year old man was transported to St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Youngstown, Ohio where he was eventually pronounced dead.
Mahoning County motorcycle and car collision
In Jackson Township, a township in Mahoning County, a Mahoning Avenue accident involving multiple vehicles has injured four people. The accident occurred at the intersection of North Duck Creek Road and Mahoning Avenue when a car was stopped at the stop sign and another vehicle rear ended the stopped car. The impact of the car accident pushed the stopped car out into the intersection and into the path of approximately 12 motorcycles. One of the motorcycles hit the car.
A passenger of the motorcycle involved in this collision was transported to a local hospital via helicopter. The driver of the motorcycle as well as the driver and passenger of the vehicle that was rear ended were also taken to the hospital.
