Pennsylvania motorcycle accident causes death of 60 year old female

A motorcycle accident in Eastern Pennsylvania has killed a Fayettesville woman. The accident occurred on U.S. 30 in Greene Township, Pennsylvania and it was a hit and run accident. The victim of this tragic motorcycle accident was a 60 year old woman that was eastbound on U.S. 30 when a pickup truck driver pulled out of a driveway and caused the motorcycle to rollover and cross the center line of U.S. 30. The victim was thrown from the motorcycle and died of blunt-force trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Motorcycle riders are especially vulnerable on the roads. Motorcycles offer less protection than other motor vehicles and they are also much smaller than the other cars and trucks on the road. The size discrepancy makes it easier for motorcycles to disappear in the blind spots of cars and trucks. Because of this, the Pennsylvania Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education (A.B.A.T.E.) has adopted the motto "look twice save a life" to help educate people to be overly safe and look multiple times when pulling out of an intersection, driveway, or when changing lanes.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a motorcycle accident, it is important to remember that you are entitled to a full and fair financial recovery for your pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, and wrongful death claims.
