Through the Dallas Helps program, Dallas Hartman, his family, and his associates once again took part in this season’s “Caring for Our Community” campaign to help keep kids in the Valley safe. In addition to Dallas Hartman, P.C., other members of the community, along with Huntington Bank, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Window World all turned out to help and show support for this great cause.
Children who attended were provided with “Kids Identi-kits.” Kids Identi-kits comes with a child ID card that displays a fingerprint, current photograph, and pertinent information, along with an easy-to-carry booklet that lists important emergency numbers and advice.
WKBN’s Kids Identi-kit programs are held periodically throughout the year as an addendum to various planned community events. The program works in conjunction with WKBN’s sponsor partners. Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. and the Dallas Helps program is a major sponsor of the event and has done so for several years.
This past Saturday morning, this season’s “Caring for Our Community” kicked off in association with the American Heart Association Heart Walk in Youngstown and on YSU’s campus. As mentioned previously, among the sponsoring volunteers were Dallas Hartman, his family, and associates. Dallas, his family, and others from Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. could be found helping to process all of the children who showed up to receive their free Kids Identikit.
In addition to helping children get their Kids Identi-kits, Dallas provided free bottles of water to some of the American Heart Association Heart Walk’s 2000+ participants.
When asked about the event, Dallas said that he was humbled by all the great people who came out for the Heart Walk and that it was an awesome way to spend a beautiful Saturday morning building community relationships.
