A man is still in critical condition after he was struck from behind while riding his bike on Peninsula Drive in Presque Isle State Park, just north of the Waldameer Park & Water World entrance. Millcreek Police say that the man was hit by a passenger van. There were two people in the van; neither were in injured in the accident. Police have not given the identity of the man on the bike.

An initial investigation has not warranted much, but police believe that no foul play is suspected. Police have not said whether or not the driver of the van will face any charges. Police are continuing to question witnesses and are asking anyone with an eyewitness account of the accident to come forward.
