Passengers who are involved in car accidents often sustain serious and debilitating injuries. In many cases, passengers are forced to suffer tremendous physical pain, mental anguish and financial hardship as a result of a driver's negligent actions. In many cases, passengers who sustain such injuries would be wise to pursue legal action.
A passenger who was injured in a single rollover car accident recently filed a personal injury lawsuit against the man who was driving the vehicle. The accident occurred when the driver was driving too fast and lost control of the car. As a result, the car veered off of the highway and struck a guard rail. The force of the crash resulted in the car leaving the highway and rolling over.
As a result of the rollover accident, the man who was a passenger in the vehicle sustained numerous and serious injuries. He recently filed a lawsuit against the driver of the vehicle related to negligence for failing to drive at a safe speed and keep a proper lookout.
Rollover accidents are among some of the most serious and potentially fatal car accidents. In this case, the passenger suffered damage to his spine that has left him permanently disabled. He also sustained several broken bones. He is suing for damages in excess of $100,000 related to medical expenses, permanent injury and disability, mental anguish and current and future lost wages.
Ohio residents who have suffered injuries as a result of being involved in car accidents, in which they were a passenger, would be wise to seek legal advice. A personal injury lawsuit can help injured passengers recover compensation related to injuries, pain and suffering, medical expenses and lost wages.
