Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. has made it a priority to help a Sharon woman who is pregnant and battling breast cancer. Adrienne Litman-Toth, a 31-year-old from Sharon, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in October 2012. Throughout February, the law firm has vowed to pledge $1 for every new “Like” they receive on the Facebook fan page: www.facebook.com/DallasHelps. The firm will match up to 5000 “Likes” with $5,000.
In addition to Dallas W. Hartman, P.C.’s generous Facebook “Like” campaign, the firm as also partnered with the Adrienne’s Army Benefit Dinner and Chinese Auction at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, at the Yankee Lake Ballroom in Brookfield, Ohio. Mrs. Litman-Toth is originally from Brookfield, but now lives in Sharon with her husband Dean. They have been married for just over a year and are expecting their first baby in May.
When interviewed about the donations and this Saturday’s benefit, Dallas Hartman, the firm’s name-trust, told reporters that “Adrienne is one of the most determined individuals we have ever met. With your help and support, combined with her strength and will to fight this terrible affliction, we are encouraged that Adrienne can defeat her cancer, have a beautiful baby, and get back to enjoying life.”
Attorney Hartman when on to speak about his personal relationships with Adrienne and her family: “I am very blessed to have the ability to support causes like Adrienne’s. My wife Kris and I have known Adrienne for several years and are so grateful that we are able to support her and her battle with cancer. Her determination and positive attitude are an inspiration to all of us.”
Adrienne’s Army was initiated as a non-profit organization designed to help Adrienne and Dean as they endure personal and financial hardships during her therapy and pregnancy. The doors at Yankee Lake will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday for the benefit dinner and Chinese auction. A buffet dinner will be served and 6 p.m. and food will be left to snack on throughout the evening. You can buy tickets at the door the day of the event, purchase pre-sale tickets from Our Gang’s Lounge in Sharon, or call John Litman at 724-866-3203 for tickets and benefit information.
Tickets have been modestly priced at $15 for adults, $10 for children, and kids under six years of age are free (but donations are greatly appreciated!). Anything that does not make it to the benefit or is donated late will be auctioned off on eBay beginning March 1. If you would like to donate, or wish to have Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. donate on your behalf, then please visit the Dallas Helps Facebook page to “Like” the page and find out more information about how you can help.
