Question as to whether Pittsburgh area woman was killed by train

Trains play a vital role in the lives of many in the Pittsburgh area. In addition to transporting goods, some trains also transport people from one place to another. Because of their size however, when something gets in its path they are difficult to stop.

A Pennsylvania woman may have recently lost her life as a result of a train accident. Her body was recovered in Beaver County near railroad tracks. The incident occurred in a remote area close to the Ambridge-Aliquippa Bridge.

Though the woman had head trauma characterized as significant, investigators are currently not clear what happened. While a train may be to blame for the death of the 45-year-old woman there is also another theory regarding how she could have died. It is possible that the woman tripped leading to her head striking the train tracks. An autopsy could potentially clear up what happened. Foul play is not suspected.

It is likely that in addition to feeling sad, family and friends of the woman are feeling stunned by her sudden and unexpected death. If the railroad company is found to be to blame for the death of the woman it is possible that a wrongful death lawsuit could be filed by her loved ones against it. While if successful it would not bring the woman back, it could help to cover any outstanding financial obligations she had as well as compensate for the fact she is no longer here. Sometimes those who file such a lawsuit find that it helps emotionally as well. At times it provides the closure needed to make it easier to forward with life.
