Rollover crash on Ohio road leaves two injured

Individuals involved in rollover accidents often relay that they remember the events of the accident in slow motion. The moment with the driver lost control of the car or truck, the feeling of being propelling through the air and suspended upside down while the vehicle overturned. Car and truck accidents involving rollovers are terrifying and often result in the drivers and passengers involved sustaining serious injuries.

Two men were recently injured in a rollover accident that occurred on an Ohio road. While driving a 1998 Plymouth Neon, the driver drifted into the left lane of traffic causing the car to overturn and roll. Both the driver and passenger in the car sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.

While the accident remains under investigation, Ohio Highway Patrol suspect that both alcohol and excessive speeding contributed to the crash.

Injuries commonly experienced by individuals involved in rollover accidents include head, neck and spinal injuries, broken and crushed bones, internal injuries and bleeding and even death. Those who survive rollover accidents were most likely wearing seat belts which prevented them from being thrown from the vehicle or through the windshield.

In this specific accident, the passenger in the vehicle may chose to file a lawsuit against the driver of the 1998 Neon. Personal injury claims can help an injured passenger recover compensation for injuries they sustained as a result of a driver's negligent actions. Likewise, personal injury lawsuits can help passengers recover monies related to medical expenses, physical therapy costs and lost wages.
