Every day a wide variety of people find themselves involved in motor vehicle accidents. Depending on the specific circumstances surrounding each of crashes, the end results vary. In the worst scenarios, such as truck accidents, individuals involved in such accidents sustain such serious injuries that they actually may lose their lives. Fortunately, many of the car crashes are minor and may not inflict any injuries on those involved.
Former wrestler, and now actor, John Cena was involved in an accident earlier this month in Pennsylvania. The vehicle in which he was a passenger was first struck from behind by a tractor-trailer. It then collided with a Honda Civic. At the time of the incident, the entertainer had just left a press event for WWE's Monday Night Raw.
Though the accident was characterized as serious, the wrestler/actor was apparently not seriously hurt in the incident and was not taken to the hospital. He reportedly planned on consulting doctors before the fight on Monday. It is unknown if any of the other people involved in the incident were injured.
It is not uncommon for the result in motor vehicle accidents involving trucks to be catastrophic. Occupants of motor vehicles can sustain brain or spinal injuries in such accidents that can change their lives forever. The entertainer is fortunate to have not sustained a serious injury in this crash. Fans of the wrestler are likely relieved as he is scheduled to return to the ring April 1, to take on another wrester turned actor- Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
