On Monday, a Beaver County man was killed after being run over by a forklift that was carrying scrap metal at Cronimet Corporation, a stainless steel recycling company in Aliquippa.
The forklift was reportedly carrying about 500 lbs. of scrap metal when it struck the man. After Tuesday's autopsy, the Beaver County coroner said that the man died at the hospital nearly a half hour after he was injured.
To this point, no official comments have been made by the company. The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, is also investigating but will not comment until after their analysis is complete.
