When an Ohio resident goes under anesthesia for a medical procedure, they should feel confident that their doctor is well aware of exactly what they are doing. Furthermore, the patient should feel confident that they will be more than sufficiently looked after.

Thousands of patients undergo anesthesia for various procedures every day in Ohio and across the country. One woman is suing under a claim of medical malpractice against the West Virginia Board of Governors in the wake of a doctor error during her surgical procedure.

The woman reports that the doctor failed to properly close her surgical wound, rendering her in continued abdominal pain. Furthermore, the surgeon failed to diagnose that the root of this victim's pain was the open wound. According to the victim, as a result of this medical error, she racked up a staggering $71,000 in medical bills.

If this victim is successful with her claim, not only could compensation work to cover the over $70,000 in medical bills, but it could work to cover the time she likely had to take off from work due to her severe abdominal pain. Furthermore, this woman could be compensated as a means of recompense for her physical pain and suffering.

No patient, in Ohio or elsewhere in the United States, should be victimized in this manner. Not only has this woman gone through a terrible experience, she likely will have a difficult time trusting medical personnel ever again. This woman deserves justice.
