A multi-car accident closed a portion of Interstate 80 on Saturday evening. The Venango County coroner reported that three people died as a result of the collisions. Pennsylvania State Police reported that up to 70 vehicles were involved including several tractor trailers.
Interstate 80 is notorious for low visibility during storms and the "white out" conditions on Saturday afternoon near the Barkeyville exit reportedly caused the chain reaction accident.
