Commercial truck accidents often end tragically and leave families devastated. Most truck drivers are responsible, take their time, keep good logs, and get the proper rest before getting back on the road; however, there are those who attempt to squeeze a few extra hours of work in to get to destination early instead of pulling over because they're tired, or drivers who are distracted by a phone call or text message they receive. Truck drivers are human just like the rest of us, and of course they make mistakes, but when you're driving a multi-ton tractor trailer at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour, your level of attention to detail and overall concentration should be at its best.
