The attorneys and other employees at Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. love to help the communities in which they live. With the annual Jameson Hospital "Run for your Heart" 5k/10k coming up, we knew that Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. and Dallas Helps charities would be well represented. This year, Gina, Caitlin, Nicole, and Nicole's daughter decided to represent the firm in downtown New Castle for the race and they had an outstanding time!
Started by the Jameson Junior Guild and the Jameson Hospital Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease, the fourth annual Jameson Hospital "Run for your Heart" race is a great way to spread awareness about America's number one killer: heart disease. In addition to the 5k/10k walk/run, Jameson also hosted fireworks the evening after the race.
The 5k/10k runs through beautiful, historic downtown New Castle and wraps its way around the city while inspiring healthful competition and raising awareness of specific life choices that can help to prevent heart disease.
Known as the "Fireworks Capital of America," Jameson also hosted a fireworks night by Zambelli that pleased the thousands in attendance. Admission collected will benefit the Jameson Dean Ornish Program and go toward improving patient services at Jameson Hospital. According to medical journals, the Dean Ornish Program is the only clinically proven way to reverse the effects of heart disease without medication or invasive surgeries. As one doctor says, "It's 100% lifestyle improvement driven."
